Biography
Charles practices exclusively in the area of U.S. immigration and nationality law and has extensive experience in assisting employers obtain temporary and permanent status for business, artistic, scientific, and academic personnel. Charles also has extensive experience managing PERM labor certification programs and advising employers on all immigration compliance matters.
Charles has managed immigration programs while representing Fortune 500 corporations, smaller and medium-sized organizations, as well as start-up companies. He meets employers' US immigration needs from both a strategic and immigration compliance perspective. Charles has provided counsel to clients across a variety of industries, including professional services, finance, aerospace, biotechnology, arts and entertainment, engineering, IT, and universities, among others.
Charles provides counsel to corporations on the immigration implications of corporate reorganizations, including corporate restructuring, reductions in force, and I-9 employment eligibility verification. He has lectured on business immigration law before both industry groups and professional organizations in the United States, Europe and Canada.
